A conveyor band is combined with high-resolution cameras and a control to allow the visual control of products. There are two major applications where products from igus® are used. On one side it is the conveyor system – this is a guided system. The guiding rail NS-01-40 runs on a NW-12-40-RW. The conveyor band continuously performs an 80-degree rotation. On the other side, the drylin® linear guide system, in combination with iglidur bearings, is responsible for a fine-adjustment of the cameras at six different positions. Because we are talking about a system for the pharmaceutical sector, all components must be lubrication-free, which also applies to the products from igus®.
