Helicopters
In aviation, the weight of the components used plays a very important role. Every gram counts. In this vector contribution, an igus® e-chain® of the 2828 series was made 610 grams lighter by replacing the separating bars. Instead of the 16 separating bars used before, only 8 are now required. All other properties of the e-chain® were left unaffected by the replacement.
