Safe linear motion without electrostatic risks

The new drylin ZLW-ES-EX combines precise linear technology with reliable protection against electrostatic discharge. All relevant components – timing belts, plain bearing assemblies and guides – are made of conductive materials and are certified by the ESD Academy in accordance with IEC 61340-51:2024. This makes the axis ideal for applications in sensitive areas such as electronics manufacturing, assembly automation or inspection and test systems. The series is available in two variants: a narrow stainless steel axis with a width of 50 mm for compact installation spaces, and a wide version with a width of 120 mm for high stability and larger support surfaces. Stainless steel cross-beam elements and linear guides ensure corrosion resistance, whilst the iglidur X bearing points guarantee high wear resistance and reliable electrical conductivity.
